The installation allowance is unusually generous and covers the wiring work. Using a PNM authorized contractor gives an instant rebate. PNM publishes no separate panel-upgrade rebate.

The federal tax credits ended
The 25D clean energy credit and 25C home improvement credit ended after December 31, 2025, and the 30C EV charger credit ended for property placed in service after June 30, 2026. The IRA Home Energy Rebates are separately funded and still rolling out state by state, so that program remains. Any site still advertising a 30% federal credit is out of date.
