This Policy applies to information we collect through this website, by phone, by email, by text message, and in connection with the electrical, EV charging, and energy-storage services we and our network of licensed electricians provide. Our services are intended for users located in the United States.
Information we collect
We collect information in three ways: information you provide, information collected automatically, and approximate location.
- Information you provide: name, phone number, email address, service address, and project details when you request an estimate, submit a form, book service, apply to our network, or contact us.
- Information collected automatically: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring pages, and similar analytics data collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Approximate location: we may estimate your city and state from your IP address using a third-party geolocation service to show nearby service and local rebate information. This is an approximation, is not precise GPS location, and is superseded by any address you enter yourself.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry, prepare estimates, and provide, schedule, and support the services you request
- To match you with a licensed, insured electrician in our network and coordinate your project
- To operate, secure, maintain, and improve our website and services
- To send transactional and service messages, and, where permitted, marketing communications you may opt out of
- To comply with law, enforce our agreements, and protect the rights, safety, and property of you, us, and others
Text messaging (SMS)
If you provide your mobile number and consent, we (or vendors acting on our behalf) may contact you by text message about your inquiry, appointment, or service. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP, and you can reply HELP for assistance. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as follows:
- With the licensed electrician or crew assigned to your project, so they can contact you and perform the work
- With service providers and vendors who help us operate (for example, hosting, analytics, email delivery, geolocation, scheduling, and payment processing), under obligations of confidentiality
- To comply with law, legal process, or lawful requests, and to enforce our terms or protect rights and safety
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case information may be transferred as a business asset
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to run the site, remember preferences, and measure usage (including through third-party analytics such as Google Analytics). You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect site functionality.
Data retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law, then delete or de-identify it.
